Hello and welcome to the first ever blog post by Minds Matter.
I’m Alex Cullen and I’m one of the contributors for Minds Matter, I am a Certified Personal Trainer and deal with issues such as depression on a regular basis. I’m also here to advise people on which sort of exercise is best when trying to get rid of stress, depression etc… As Exercise is one of the best ways to get rid of/ help take your mind of what’s going on.
Minds Matter is an on-line support group for people suffering/ been affected from mental illness. It started out as a simple Facebook page and quickly grew and demanded more care, attention and content.
Our primary objective is to let people know that it is okay to talk about these issues. What makes us unique is that unlike all other sites set up to help people who have mental issues, Mind Matters is set up by someone who has lived it.
